Employment and Work Readiness Assistance

The purpose of this programme is to:

• Help unemployed people become ready for work by reducing barriers to their employment
• When they are ready for work, to help facilitate their transition into, and retention of, sustainable employment

The programme includes motivation and confidence building, job searching skills, literacy and numeracy.

It also helps to eliminate factors that impede their entering into/or continuing employment, including social circumstances or drug or alcohol use.
